UXV First Problem - Temp Light
« on: May 28, 2011, 05:15:38 PM »
I just had my first problem and cant seem to figure it out. I changed my oil, added a stereo, took the hood off and cleaned it real well. Now, as soon as i start it the temp light comes on. It is not over heating and the fan works like it should. I traced everything i could think of and cant find the problem. any ideas?

nevermind, i am a dummy.

When i changed the oil last time i knocked the wire off the engine temp sensor. For some reason i thought it just had the one in the radiator. But that one just works the fan.

I started to suggest a sending unit then read that you figured it out.  What kinda of stereo setup did you do?
