I traded my 2009 Honda Rebel in for a new Like 200i and thought I would say how much I love the change.
I had no storage at all on the Reb of course other than a backpack, so the underseat/glovebox/tail trunk are all super welcome.
The weather coverage amazed me compared to being out in the open on a motorcycle. The gas mileage is about the same so far as my Reb being in the 70's. I've only got a little over 700 miles on in the month I've had it, but it's been reliable so far other than the clock not working (Covered on warranty) and if it's left in the open sun (Florida) with a cold engine it doesn't start right away, but always starts. (Turned out to be an ECU issue. warranty.)
Very responsive engine, and very simple to maintain since I wasn't charged much for the 500 mile service even though the valve service was also included. I do not miss shifting,......AT ALL! Lol!
It's pretty large framed for a 163cc scoot, and that seems to make it much nicer on the highway. Still easy in the city.
I've gotten her up to an indicated 70MPH so far before the windshield, (Slipstreamer Scoot66) but maintains 60MPH without a problem.
I'm small at 5.7 125. Seems to be close to real indicated speed since I generally have to slow down often to ride with traffic, maybe 3 mph optimistic if that. Either that or everyone is slowing down now due to the gas prices. (Car speedos are also optimistic, except for Police cars.)
I love it!
