sidthesloth, can you tell me where i can download a kymco zx 50 super fever service manual. had fine blue spark but nothing now, new gas ,new plug, new cdi, coil checks out good, will pull the carb. and clean it but, this has nothing to do with no spark any help you can send me would be great. billbow45

It sounds like you will need to go over all your electrical connections in your ignition system. I posted a link to a free manual download in my last post. He has a quite a few kymco manuals.

sidthesloth, i forgot to say that i read the cdi with three meters and got nothing, called the seller scrappydog they said they would send me another asap. billbow45

When I tried with the digital meter I got no readings, when I used my old analogue meter I got very slight readings, I used them to determine which wire goes where. The zx cdi is dc fired.

sidthesloth, checked for fuel to carby, nothing, carby was full of oil no fuel coming out of the line,replaced filter no fuel, any ideas. will clean carby in the am and get new air filter. wife is about to kick my old ass for buying this scoot but, I just told her that I was going to get this running yet. G'day billbow, If you are not getting fuel to the carb, it could be the screen in the tank (part of the fuel tap), or an inline filter blockage or the vacuum side of the fuel tap is not working. Make sure there is enough fuel in the tank, run the fuel hose to a container and apply vacuum to the vacuum hose, suck on the hose is the easy way. Fuel should flow from the fuel line. If there is a crack in the vacuum hose, this could be enough to stop it from opening the fuel tap.
