From memory, I got mine from Daywot, he advertised on ebay. A number of sellers have them for varying prices, just have to look around. I have only bought one and it is still going strong. Best $10 mod to my scoot.

sidthesolth,I got the honda dio cdi and hooked it up by your wiring but I still have no darn spark. I have checked the wiring, have a new plug, what could be wrong, what is left but the coil. Please help this 66 year old man misses his scooter. Billbow45

G'day Billbow45, if you have no spark you will have to go through the electrical systems to find the fault. What is the green light you mention?
Do you have the service manual? It has the values for testing the coil and generator.

Billbow45, I went through the manual and got some test readings for you.
Ignition coil continuity test: Resistance between ignition coil primary coil terminals should be between
0.153-0.187 ohm.
Secondary coil resistance between the spark plug cap and primary terminal should be between
6.99-10.21 K ohm.
Secondary coil resistance between ignition coil terminal and primary coil terminal should be 3.24-3.96 K ohm.
To check the pulser coil, disconnect the pulser coil wire connector and measure the resistance between the blue/yellow wire and ground, should be between 80-160 ohm.
Hope this helps.

As far as i know, the tzr CDI doesn't have any green light. Are you using an original dio CDI? If so, do you know what model it is for? Some are ac fired, but I think some might be dc fired.

Yes, make sure you have fuel going to the carby, also make sure the fuel is fresh, I have been finding out that fuel doesn't last as long as it used to. Also, cleaning your carby is a good idea as well as cleaning the screen in the fuel tap in the tank. If you have an in line filter, it may be worth replacing it if you suspect it to be builing up with dirt/gum.
Here is a link to a free service manual, he also has a free download for RAR extract frog, which I think you will need to open the manual when you download it.

There is a thread in the general section, (I think it is on page 3 at the moment), with links to service manuals. Hope you have some success, if you have the spark, you should be able to get it going without too much trouble.
Cheers,
Sid.
