Correct tire PSI for Yager G 200i
« on: June 04, 2011, 12:55:48 PM »
I seem to be getting different info on the correct PSI for my Yager. The manual says app 28 PSI, with 35 as the max. The info on the side of the tires says 40 PSI. Anyone know what the correct level should be?

Depends on rider weight and comfort. I usually start in between the manual listings and the tire listings, and go higher or lower depending on if it feels too hard, or too soft. I never go below or above one or the other.

The PSI stated on the tire is for maximum pressure. That means you should not exceed that. The PSI in the book is what you want and what the factory recommends for average riding, load and performance from the tires.

Thanks everyone. I've lowered it to around 30 PSI. I'm about to ride into Philly from NJ to see how the ride goes.

Thanks again,
