Brake adjusting bolt
« on: June 19, 2011, 06:16:52 PM »
Was tinkering with my agility and seems I have misplaced my brake adjusting bolt somewhere, anyone have an idea where I can find a new one online?

They want $22 for the whole assembly on kymcoparts.com plus $13 shipping, WOW

if you have a Yamaha dealership near you see if they have one for a TTR125 dirtbike. i lost mine during my rebuild as well and couldn't find one without buying the whole assembly so i said what the hell the dirtbike isn't running why don't i try that one? and what do ya know? perfect fit :D

that's what i'm talking about! glad i could help money is tight no matter who you are these days & there aint no sense in having to pay $35 because you lost one nut! and heaven forbid the nut somehow doesn't fit you're only out $2 and i'll feel like a jackass LOL  ;D

I agree, and $2 with some kind of hope of saving money rather than just shellin out the $35 right away I would feel better about in the long run.  :)

yea definitely it's more like a wing nut too so it's a lot easier to adjust when necessary i actually consider it an upgrade, the rod that the brake rod goes through also matches up in case you lose that as well yamaha parts are much easier to come by than kymco parts at least in the US
