Locks

Hello all.  I just purchased my first scooter this weekend. 06 Kymco People 150.

I will be parking it in DC on a busy sidewalk near bike poles.  There is currently an Agility parked there with a long Kryptonite chain going around the body and around the pole.  I have a wheel brake lock that came with it, but I think I'm going to need something more substantial to scare off would be thieves.  I'm looking at the Kryptonite chains in the 3'-4' range, but I'm starting to think that the U-locks will work ok as well since the front tire is thinner than a normal motorcycle or scoot.  The other option is the Club Tire Claw thing.  All of these are in the $50-60 range and would lock up my front wheel pretty well.  What do you guys use?  Thanks.

Probably old news, but the old Kryptonite locks were famous for being able to be opened with a hexagonal plastic bic pen.  Check Youtube for video of same.  I use a combination cable lock.
Just postin for historical reasons in case someone reads this oldie.
