Mirrors help - windscreen is the answer?
« on: June 23, 2011, 08:42:07 PM »
Hi all -
First post here - be kind!   ;)
Just got my '06 People 150, and it seems like the mirrors are almost useless.  I feel like they need to be either extended or more flexible.  There's no way to position them so that I can just glance down and see much other than my elbow.  Anyone have any solutions?
I saw a post about installing a windscreen that seemed to help, but there are a few options for those.  Can anyone be specific as to whether it was the Puig or the Prima, or something else?
Also, and maybe this is a separate post, but how difficult are they to install?  Require fancy tools?

Thanks for your help!!  This forum has already been invaluable to me!!

The Puig windscreen helps. The mounting hardware sets the mirrors a little more out and slightly up. I never noticed this until I read your post. I'm 6' 1" and my wife's 150 gives me no problem, but it's had the windscreen on from day one. The Puig is a really nice piece. Hope this helps.

I got some mirror extenders on amazon.com; they also have them on ebay; cost about $20...
