Glad you are going to add the Kymco line. I believe that the Kymco is a very well made product. I have owned many motorcycles and a few scooters. The fit/finish and quality of the parts and components is very good. Many higher cost scooters don't have enough over the Kymcos to justify the increased cost. The other Kymco owners I know wanted a good solid product, with some bells and whistles, no fluff and did not see the need to buy into a "lifestyle". Good reputation for reliability and parts availability. Take time to do the complete Pre-delivery inspection and a road test, check all fluids (no assumptions),set their clocks, check the tire pressures and explain some of the maintenance items to the purchasing customers, and you will have repete Kymco buyers, as well as free advertisiment from them (your customers). If your Knowledgeable about the Kymco product, you will do well. When gas goes back up (and it will) people will again flood the dealers.Untill then ,selling a fun/economical vehicle is always going to take place. With this Economical slow down, and Christmas right aroud the corner-sales may be off. Be creative with specials on service and accessories. I doesn't hurt either to me seen in all the cool places on a new Kymco scooter (free advertisiment?). People come up to me all the time when I'm on my P-250, much more than if I ride one of my other bikes_ except maybe my military side car rig. I'm long winded I know- I hope you do well.
