the spindel thing,,,i think you are talking about the magnito.....said earlier but i could not agree more...at this time of year  dealers want to be selling scooters and not fixing them....i should know i have one laid up at a dealer who is a one man show.....who keeps telling me he hasn't got time to get to it....if it was the middle of the winter you would have had it fixed already...

internet dealer the way to go....for that part which is a fairly easy fix....

G'day Freerider, you can balance your wheels yourself. With mine I got some weights from a tyre place, when I took my front wheel off I used the axle to mount the wheel on a pair of jack stands, then spun the wheel and allowed it to come to a stop by itself. If the same point stopped at the bottom each time, that is the heavier spot, so place a weight on the opposite side and spin again, if the wheel stops at different points each time, then the wheel is balanced. With the rear wheel, I bought two small bearings to put into the spline, then put a small shaft through to support the wheel on the jack stands and do the same. The weights I got from the tyre place were 5 and 10 gram weights. You can also use dyna beads which go inside the tyre and balance the wheel as you ride. There are also gel versions.

Nice.... they need to allow you to give REP points on this site!
Great idea, and even better with the dynabead suggestion.

@freerider, Also just check its not simply a small stone stuck in your tread somewhere giving you a bumpy ride. Prob isnt, but worth 2-3mins to check anyway, just in case.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

Or could be a worn wheel bearing too.
