Kymco Agility Leg Shield/Ignition Cover
« on: July 01, 2011, 09:33:08 PM »
Hey I am trying to remove the leg shield cover on my 2009 Kymco Agility 50 that also covers the ignition because it is open near the ignition and I would like to remove and replace the leg shield. I have found an aftermarket part and it shows in the part drawing the screws to remove, and I did this and would come off a little bit, but the bottom of the leg shield would not budge. Has anyone else tried to remove this? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have had mine off thers a few screws when pulling it off you have to wiggle it hard and pull up on it there are some plastic taps you have to work around. just make sure all screws are out.

Yeah had the same problem when i had to change the ignition (... i was inlucky and broke a key inside it...), but although i was scared that i might break the shield, i found out that a little violence helps when trying to get this off ;)
