2009 Agility 50 Fuel Gauge Issue
« on: July 11, 2011, 01:34:54 AM »
Hey, I have a 2009 Agility 50 and for some reason the fuel gauge is not working, but the other gauges are working fine. I took off the handlebar cover and attempted to tighten the screws that I thought were holding in the fuel gauge wires, but this didn't fix it. If there is an easy way to troubleshoot this, any advice would help. I don't really want to spend a lot of money to try and fix this since it is not a huge issue.

Try checking that the float in the tank is not stuck, alsn check that the wire connector has not become unplugged.
ZX50, 47mm cyl. kit, TZR50 CDI. Michelin Pilot Sport tyres,
Next performance mod; pumping the tyres up.

I checked the float and it is not stuck, but which wire connector are you referring to? I checked the ones directly under the fuel gauge and it appears they are all connected, but I don't know if there is another connector I need to check as well. If anyone could tell me which wire exactly to check that would be helpful. Thanks!

Start with the one at the tank and then follow the wires through.

check your fuse that is next to the battery.
