Do any of you GV owners have any numbers on how long the drive belt lasts before needing replacement. How hard a job is it?

I had mine replaced at about 21,000 km. It still looked good and was within specs but I could tell a slight difference in top speed and gas mileage due to the wear. It took the mechanic about 10 minutes.

About 13,000 miles. Not bad at all.
Say GeezerBob, can I ask a favor? Can you post a picture of the tail bags you're using?
Thanks,

I'm not computer literate enough to post pics on a regular basis, although occasionally one will go through. By the time I get one to post, I've tried so many things that I never remember which one worked. One day I'll get smart and write it down. A picture of me and my scooter, with saddle and tail bags, is my avatar on the Maxiscoots board. Larger pics are on the Motorcycle Superstore site and, at the time, they had the best price around on this particular brand. Tourmaster also makes a slightly larger round tail bag that looks good with the saddlebags and I sort of wish I had gotten it for the extra capacity.
