« on: July 21, 2011, 09:34:52 PM »
Hello to all,

can you suggest give me ideas, how to understand if clutch is broken?
Seems like a have this problem, but not 100% sure.

Thank you in advance.

Probably best to 1st open up the cvt cover and take the bell housing off to remove the clutch assembly and have a look at it. Make sure you have some depth left on the clutch pads and check no springs are broken or loose. Also give a clean out if its dirty inside.

If the clutch looks ok it may just be dirt in it and a good clean can fix it.
Chaos is my co-pilot.

My clutch was not fully dis-engaging when I stopped at lights etc a while ago. I took it apart and cleaned it up and it worked fine after that. Hopefully it may work for you too.
