I walked around a dealership that sells Honda's, Yamaha's, Suzuki's, and Kawasaki's. I had a list printed out showing every bike MFW makes the Vario pegs for - but I couldn't find a single peg that was an exact match. A few were close. The Kawasaki Versys passenger pegs (same as the Ninja 650R and ZX14) seem to have the same shape peg, with the mounting hole in the right place - but the alignment hole is in the wrong place. I had my 4 year old in tow and she was getting antsy - so I didn't get to pull the peg off the showroom bike to be sure if I could use it. If the alignment hole is the only thing that's off, and I have room to drill a new one - then it would make a secure and good looking mount that I could adjust one bolt (per side) for different sized riders. But I'd want to put my peg on that bike and make sure that it sits properly in the down position first. Since I didn't find an exact fit I'm not sure if I want to bother with the Varios. They are really nice adjustable pegs - but I really want more than 2" of rise for my daughter anyway.
I have some highway pegs sitting on a shelf - so I'm tempted to spend $15 on some square steel tubing from Home Depot, bend a couple of "L" shapes with 3" of rise, then put a 45 degree bend into the top towards the back of the bike (the bottom of the L would stick straight into the bike at the peg mount). It wouldn't look as nice or be as easy to adjust for different riders - but it would let me get 3 or 4" of rise for my daughter instead of 2, and it would be easier/cheaper.
