installing on/off switch for headlight

I was reading the dink 250 manual and notice this model has an on/off switch for the headlight on the right handle bar. Can we install this on our GV? Or have anybody done it?

The law in the US market calls for motorcycle's headlights to be operational whenever the engine is running,so Kymco rightly sees no reason to install a switch.
