Buying Used

I'm thinking of picking up a People 150 for my wife to ride so she can come on rides with me. I have a bigger scooter myself.
Does anyone know how long these engines last assuming it's been maintained?
Is 20,000 miles a lot for a people 150 or does it still have plenty of life left? It's a 2004 if that matters.

Not sure how long they last but my '05 has 14000 kilometers on it and it still runs great. My odometer reads in kilometers not miles, so you might want to verify whether the 20,000 is miles or kilometers. Good luck!

I'll check the speedometer for sure. The seller indicated 20k miles so at this point I'm assuming he's done the conversion if necessary seeing as how smaller numbers look better when considering milage.
