I've been riding my girlfriend's People 50 and realizing how unsafe it is in its current condition. The headlights are too dim, the tires are crappy and have very little grip, the brake light and the signals are too dim.

Will the HID headlight kit for the People 150 fit in People 50?

If not, what headlights would you recommend to be brighter? Also, where can I get replacement bulbs for the signals and brake lights? I want something as bright as the electrical components can handle.

Also, tires. The Pirelli MT 75s are what I want. Can anyone confirm that they have actually installed and ridden with tires of the same size on the People 50?

And one last question. Where can I buy OEM parts for the Kymco? I need to replace the housing for one of the rear signals and a brake lever.

Here is a bulb that I found in another thread that I should be able to use for at least the brake light

The HID system you outlined clearly says that it runs off the battery, so that rules out the 50.

Hi,

I am using Xenons on my People S, but as mentioned battery runs out...only if you will manage to build in the wiring system switch that kills any electrycity movement, but here is one minus, also your clock will be always 12am.
And thos tires, they are slippery, better try to find Enduro/offroad tires with same markings.
I will do it next month.
So xenon with switch and offroad tires ;)
Safety first!
