Hey Glennza,
Wondering if you fitted the Naraku variator yet and how it performs...
Thanks!

Hi Kevin,
Yep, had it fitted for a couple of weeks now. It came with 'standard' rollers (9.5gm, I think) so I ordered some 5.5gm ones too. Tried the 9.5's first; acceleration was about the same but the power transfer felt a lot smoother - revs didn't change at all as speed picked up. Nice! Also, seems a lot less rattley?
This is the one I bought. Good price but postage is a bitch!

I picked those ones cos they seemed to be the most popular weight with forum members. Have to say I didn't like them! Quicker takeoff but it took forever to hit top speed. I have now mix n matched three of the 9.5's and 3 of the 5.5's. Feels about right to me but not so smooth with mixed rollers in. Will order some 6.5's or 7's when I can be bothered.
At the same time, I removed the airbox and fitted a direct-flow air filter. Also upjetted from .78 (standard) to .85. Feels like there's a lot more power but it's very noisy!

Hope that's useful! Glenn
