Quannon 150s at $1995
« on: September 08, 2011, 06:13:30 AM »
There are at least two US dealers selling the Quannon 150s for $1995. One, on the Big Island of Hawaii, Kisers Motorcycles in Kona, is selling for that price with no freight and setup fees. The other dealer is in California. Must be because the bike is discontinued in the US. Still, for $1995.......

That may be the California dealer I found on cycletrader.com that has them at $1995.

And how is the Quannon working out for you? Any problems? What can the bike cruise at? Have you figured your gas mileage out?

There just isn't a lot of information on these.

    Thnks, Jon

How did you end up paying $3,500 out the door when the bike was listed at $1,995 on the show room floor? Seems odd to pay an additional $1,500 on top of the purchase price.

I saw several cycletrader deals on 2009 Yamaha TMax's for $6,000.  I called to make sure that they still had them before driving a couple of hours only to be told they "sold them weeks ago" but had one exactly like it for $9,000.  Be careful of Bait and Switch deals.  The Kymco dealer had 2 2009 Xciting 500's for sale for $4,999 listed, and actually had both of them (I bought one and told other people who bought the other).  Score 2 for an honest Kymco dealer  (T J Cycles in Austin)...

Kisers has the 150 Quannons at $1995 with NO freight and setup fees. Here's the ad:

I am thinking of geetting one at that price. Anyone know if the Quannon 150 can cruise aT 50-55 mph reliably? I'm about 5'9" and 180 pounds.

Thank you. That's what I'm looking for. What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

Ehh, it's better than looking like a giant that's riding a pocket bike. These things really are slightly bigger than Ninja's and CBR's (250's) and accommodate people over 6' very well.
