Vibration at idle is different with front/rear brake applied

Engine is warmed up.  Stopped at a light I use the rear brake, there is more vibration than holding the front brake.  Idle speed is about 1700 rpm so I don't think its fighting the cvt.  I am making a list for the 600 mile checkup, any ideas ?

Most scooters vibrate more when the rear brake is applied at idle.  That's because the engine / trans is 'unsprung' weight vs a regular motorcycle or a car where the engine / frame is supported by shock absorbers.

Also 1 cylinder engines inherrently all vibrate at idle more than a 2 0r 4 cyclinder engine.

Nothing to worry about!  Same thing happens on my 50cc Super 9.

That's perfectly normal.

noticed this as well quite a while ago. I figured it is because the engine and CVT are direct connection to the rear wheel rather than like that of a MC where they are in the suspended cradle. Since I've noticed this I tend at lights etc to hold the front break only when on slight inclines etc............

Previous scoot must have had a better engine mount, it was not as noticeable.
