Yager 125
« on: September 23, 2011, 02:57:46 PM »
hi there,

i have a yager 125, which is now over 2 years old. About 6 months ago the electronic fuel gauge when out. After nearly running out of petrol i've decided to fix it. i managed to get it to come back on by keep unplugging the electric's to the dashboard but it only comes on for 5 seconds and goes back off.

has anyone got an idea of why its doing it and more importantly how do i fix it ?

cheers

vic

Welcome aboard Vic! You can use a jewelers screwdriver to tweak the female pinns inside the connector, and use PB Blaster/WD-40 to wash out any oxidation. I would also try moving the harness around to see if the Prob. is elsewhere in the wire.
