I would suggest that you get a tuning kit from MonsterGY6.com.
They sell a little box of roller weights and clutch springs that you can mix and match.
This company has done well for me so far.  They sell individual weight sets as well.

Everything on your s8 is the same as any of the 2t 50cc in principle. Look thru any of the posts, and you will find a wealth of info. When you understand how it all works from reading them you can ask for suppliers/links depending on what skill level you have, and the results you expect from your scoot. I read back alot, and find new info everytime. My point is there are different ways to achieve your goal, and the old threads have sooooo much info it seems to be a waste of typing if it is not looked at. The MANY opinions/facts/links are all here. So going thru them will be a time consuming process, but you can take the many replies to hone in on what makes you comfy vs. a single thread! Cool?

If you haven't figured it out, your engine is a GY6 model and can generally use GY6 parts.
I have installed the variator and clutch from Monster GY6 and they work well.

There are lots of options out there, but I have been pleased with Monster GY6 so far.
Their prices are fair and they even called me to verify a part.  They didn't have the part I ordered, so they gave me a more expensive part for the same price.
