I've seen the Givi on ebay. It's coming from Canada though. I'm sure a local
dealer can order it but not sure how long to get it or how much!

This place lets you order them for $189.99;

Thanks Randy,

I've watching the eBay  one- but am not sure how 'clean' it is.

I'll probably buy the $180 one - that's for the link.

I haven't. Actually, I haven't seen a review of any aftermarket windshield for the Yager anywhere :-(
Looks like we are the only one (on this forum) to worry about that!
The only one I found online for sale is the GIVI.
Pretty pathetic that even Kymco (through dealers) doesn't have its own Puig/Kymco available for purchase.

I sent Scooterworks an email about the FACO windscreen 22676.
They carry FACO widescreens for Vespas.

I asked if we had four people that wanted the same FACO item, would they get it for us?

If they say 'yes' I'll post it to all the scooter forums. Combined there might be four or more willing buyers.
Especially considering the aerodynamics of the Yager and the fact that these windscreens are hard (impossible) to get.

The Givi is a good screen, just too tall for me. I'm 5'9"

Apparently, ISOTTA makes two windshields for the Yager/Dink:
http://isotta-srl.com/EN/SCOOTER/KYMCO/DINK.aspx
MotoRandy123 mentioned that earlier.
Here are some photos and dimensions.

Model SC2724

Model E602

I like the E602 (smaller) better and the fact that it protects the hands as well.
From what I found, I think it's the cheapest too (vs. Givi, Faco, Puig (hard to find)).
If I buy it, I will report here.

Ludo,

I like the smaller E602 too. Plus the hand pertection would be great !
I think that site is in Greece.  Hopefully they ship overseas.
The price is ok, about $106 USD.

As far as I could tell, the web site didn't allow orders to be placed.
Perhaps they have a dealer network.

I  agree, the size of that windshield seems optimal.
I looked at few websites and found a legit one based in Austria.
One of their guys is actually on the SYM forum so I will invite him here.

Ludo.

Yes - please invite him.

I explored their dealer web tool a little.
There were dealers in Italy and Spain.

Here's a web site that sells an Isotta windscreen for the Vespa.
http://www.sip-scootershop.com
Maybe they could get ours too.

KZ

The SIP website has a fairly active forum of its' own.
I registered and posted a http://www.sip-scootershop.com/community/forums/p/419464/2371579.aspx#2371579]message on this topic.

I like the size of the smaller one too and $100 is a good price but it looks like they
only have dealers in Italy and Spain. I did find it on this site;
http://japan.webike.fr/products/1902114.html

Japan.webike.fr? France? But they want $287 and it takes "Usually ships within 1 and a half months "!

Also I noticed from that site that it is only 3mm thick! Also the Isotta site shows our bike but the other site
has some reviews and they show a different bike (Grand Dink).

You can get it off the Italian ebay for 50 euro's plus 10 lbs shipping and they ship worldwide. See here:
http://www.ebay.it/itm/PARABREZZA-ISOTTA-KYMCO-DINK-125-VERSIONE-2007-E602-/120883177818?pt=Ricambi_e_Accessori_Moto&hash=item1c2532e95a#ht_822wt_886

Hmm when you try to change the shipping it allows euro countries (for 25 lbs ((or euro))) but not USA....

Here it is on sale for 40 euro's;

Man I wish some one state side had a laser or CNC machine that would make any windscreen on demand.
No stocking costs - but quick production as needed.
That would be a nice little business.

As someone mentioned, it's the 'low volume' of Yager state side that's hurting us - the US dealers don't want to be bothered.

But on top of it, the non-US sellers don't care to ship stateside either.

AITA

Well I've heard CeeBailey's will make one free for the first guy then stock them for
others to buy (at least they did for the Grand Vista);

This place does custom one's I've always heard;

ISOTTA E602 @ Euronetbike.net
« Reply #44 on: November 26, 2012, 09:08:44 PM »
UPDATE...

Ok guys,
I decided to order the ISOTTA E602 from Euronetbike.net.
http://www.euronetbike.net/isotta/scooters/kymco/dink/windscreen-medium-protection-with-mount-a-420-for-dink-07.html
They are located in Austria (near Germany ;)).

I originally found a discussion about them on the SYM Forum:
http://symforum.com/index.php?topic=1760.0

Also, I wrote to Erjon Galanxhi (from Euronetbike.net) and invited him to join the discussion here.

FYI, I checked the dimensions of that screen and I think it will be perfectly sized. The top of the screen should arrive just at my nose's level (I am 5"11).
I will take photos when I receive it but that it may take few weeks to arrive.

Also, the price and shipping are really decent.
There is a 10% discount so I ended up paying:
Screen:                     $101.28
Including discount:        $10.13
Subtotal:                     $91.15

Shipping cost:              $36.92  (NICE!!!!)
Total cost:                 $128.08  (Paid using PAYPAL)

I guess I am done looking for an aftermarket windscreen for the Yager  ;D
