Fitted the Puig to the bike, but did not ride it. Initial impression is that it is not simply plug 'n play. The Puig screen is thinner than the stock screen and doesn't use the mounting screws that pass through the dash. The grommets from the original screen are to be re-used, but they are rather loose in the screen. The metal fittings that pass through the grommets are too tall, and prevent the mounting screws from pressing against the grommets. As a result, the screen mount is rather floppy. It doesn't follow the contour or the dash very well either, flares out at least 1/2" per side at the back of the dash, bends the black trim piece out and doesn't fit as cleanly as I'd have expected for the "Kymco approved" windshield to fit.
I'm ordering spare parts so I can try to tweak the mounts and try to make it fit more snugly to the base of the dash. Failing that, I'm going to look into heating and re-shaping the base of the screen a little so it will fit right. For now, the stock screen is back on. I'll report once I get the darn thing to fit right.
