Update...
I finally got the windscreen. It took exactly one month (ordered on 11/26, shipped 12/06, received 12/26).
So Erjon, if you read this post, disregard my email.
Great packaging, screen was well protected.
At first it looked taller than I thought it would be and slightly thinner also (3mm).
The brackets are really solid and painted black gloss.
Instructions are in Italian and looking at all the screws, I decided to translate (thanks to Google) to make sure I install it correctly.
So here are my thoughts by category:
1) Fit:
The screen fits pretty well (as good as some Givi windscreens I had in the past on other bikes).
Everything is well aligned although, I had some problems at the end when putting the OEM lower plastic cover. Maybe it is due to the shape of the screen but one hole wasn't aligned and I had to run to the hardware store since I messed up one screw.
The mirrors will very slightly touch the screen if the handlebar is turned completely but when locked, there is NO contact (see photo).
2) Body Protection:
I am 5'11" (inseam 32") and I think this screen was made for me
By far the best upper body I have felt with any windscreen.
The top is at my eyes level. I need to stay straight to see above.
3) Hand Protection:
Overall, really good deflection of the wind. I wore my light gloves to test it (around 45F today) and after 30 minutes, only my pinkies were getting some cold air. With winter gloves, it's a non-issue.
4) Noise:
Complete silence (no wind noise) if I sit relaxed. Perfect really!
5) Impact on top speed:
So far, it seems that the top speed is not affected. I have been able to reach 68mph on a flat road. That's pretty much what I used to get before.
I will need to test it more on highways though.
6) Vibration:
Since day 1, I have heard some vibration noises in front of the Yager. It happens mostly when I put my feet up and stretch my legs.
Nothing has changed but it doesn't affect the windshield either.... if that makes sense.
7) Overall feel/quality:
To be honest, the screen feels thin (4mm would have make it feel more sturdy) but it doesn't vibrate nor flexes even at top speeds so no real problem here.
Knowing that there is a very limited choice of windshields for the Yager, I feel pretty good with my choice.
The size, shape and cost are really good and it does its job very well.
Overall I think it's a good windscreen.
Feel free to ask any questions. I probably forgot something.
Photos to come...
