thinking of buying a GV 250

Guys how happy are with your GV 250 how while do you think kymco compars to yamaha scooter .

I have had four Kymco's in the past couple of years.  Started with the People 50 then to the 200 up to the 500cc.  All are great but the Grandvista that I just purchased is by far the greatest one of the bunch for ease of handling and ride.  You cannot beat the two year warrenty and the quality of workmanship.  Purchasing anything other then Kymco just doesnot make any sense.

I got my Vista just last November. "08".  It didn’t take long for me to realize that something had to be done with the seat and the leg room situation.  After reading a few posts in this forum I decided to go down for the Airhawk seat cushion.  Got the Airhawk (On sale for 124.00, online at www.rlmotorcycles.com) and removed the backrest on the Vista.  Big, Big, Big improvement!  And by the way, removing the backrest is no big deal.  Open the seat trunk and remove the 3 nuts and the thing pops off.  Later if you want you can easily put it back.  As far as the rest of the scoot goes, is probable the fanciest and best made out there.  Nice large brake light and seat for passenger and safety stuff like the engine cuts off or won’t start if the kick stand is down.  If you’re a tall guy then I would suggest and highly recommend that you sit on one before you buy.  Out side of that, yeah it’s not a cheap Chinese scoot but a solid riding machine.
