Would be illegal to use in the uk, technically even whilst stationary, not to mention IMO dangerous!!

That would not go down well at all here in north wales the police here are probably the toughest on motorist than anywhere else in the uk, i get stopped on average at least twice a month for not displaying L plates even tho i do not need them, the other day when they stopped me they had said they had followed me for nearly a mile trying to stop me with the flashing lights but as you know standard agility mirrors give poor rear view you have to shift your body to see behind.....

Were they on mountain bikes or did they just have a real slow panda car?  ;D

Yep North Wales Police are pretty hot on stuff like that, never been stopped in Derby yet........ But a simple PNC, followed by a DL check would negate the need to pull you in the first place as that would give the date you had held your licence from. I don't know a bunch of wooden tops  ;D

LOL They were in a traffic car but said did not want to startle me but in the end give a blast on the siren as you know the standard agility mirrors dont have the best rear view and being daytime did not notice flashing lights behind...

I know i mainly rely on looking over my shoulder but as i was just going straight ahead did not to a shoulder check as i just leave the cars to overtake me as they please my scoot still restricted, would not mind but also noticed the other day my tax disc is missing dont know if it was stolen of simply fell off, lucky they did not notice or may have charged me with failing to display....
