In all honesty it felt like a different scooter there was such an improvement. I'm really looking foward to ridding myself of the restricted bushing to see what the scooter will do. I'm waiting for a variator holding tool to come ( see new reply to 17mm pulley). Thirty seven years as a Dolphins fan in New England isn't easy. That is where the screen name phin is from.  Paul

Put the smooth sleeve in yesterday along with the 7 gram weights and what a difference! What an improvement! It will blast downhill over 40mph indicated and climbs better than before. Definitely worth the effort.

Basic instructions for replacing the boss drive: 1-Remove bolts(8mm) from clutch cover  2-Remove 17mm nut from front pulley  3-Remove outer half of drive pulley(drive pulley face)  4-Remove drive belt from shaft  5-With left your hand, hold inner half of pulley(movable drive face),and with your right hand remove the boss face drive(variator spacer). Be sure that you hold the inner pulley half securely to insure that the roller weights remain in their proper position (they could fall out)  6-Insert new spacer  7-Install belt  8-Install Pulley half and 17mm nut  9-Install cover

When I bought my Agility it came with a parts bag,but they were the restricted parts..a # 80 jet a variator boss bushing. Mine was derestricted new,I pulled the cdi and it was cut before it got to my dealer then I bought a derestricted boss drive and it was the same one in it already. It does 37 to 42 mph on the flats but going uphill is a bit embarassing.  PS  cutting the cdi is the simplest thing to do with no worries of ruining anything

Just wanted to come in and say the unrestricted cdi part number TYC-D421 works on the People 50 2t as well. It came on mine. On a 2007 People, the cdi is located behind the front cover.
