You mentioned you had that touring seat for your Grandvista. Does it make for a shorter seat height? Does it allow you to sit further back in the saddle? In other words give you more legroom when you put your feet up in the touring position.

So Sorry...This message slipped right past Urbestfriend.
I'm not sure the Captain's Seat is any closer to the ground
and I don't believe it sits you back further.    The seat back
either could've  been  back a little or the seat itself could be longer.

My bike is a 2004 and the seat (although it fits the bike)
hangs over various portions of the body and it may not
seal off as well as the stock seat.   I'm 5-10 and probably
235-240 lbs.

How do I like it ?  1)  It really sets the bike off.   2)  It
makes me feel a little more secure and 3)  Once used to it,
it's extremely comfortable.   Not sorry,  I put it on.

The (POC)  Pride of Cleveland Scooter Shop is the most direct
place I found on the internet.    They are extremely dedicated
to Scooterpeople.

I have the touring seat on my '09 GV. I think it is a softer seat, which makes it easier to touch the ground. But I don't think it gives you more legroom in the touring position.
Hope this helps.

Bob Dole wants you to know that Bob Dole saw it, though, and Bob Dole has no opinion on scooter seats, one way or the other.
