Try using bunge cords to wrap around the whole thing. I was 16 once a long, long time ago and all I wanted to due was go fast. Take your time, get to know your scoot. Remember everyone driving a cage (car) is out to get you. Stay out of the cars blind spot. Good luck and have fun.

the cover for it should have draw strings on it so you can tie it down on the bottom of the scoot.
as far as falling over use the center stand you should be all good. park the scoot the same way the wind is blowing if you can.

Hi Tomb. . .  Welcome to the forum.  Tell us what kind of moped (we call em scooters) and what kind of cover do you have?  Can you take and post some pictures of it and the cover?  We love pics here!   ;D

He probably is talking about a moped, there is a diff.  73 here, I think I was once 16, but I don't remember.  I started riding in June of this year.

I'll be the big 50 this April :)  Doesn't bother me though. I feel like I'm 30!

Another tip. Always use the center stand if you have one. I have known of too many scooters that have fallen over while their riders were in the store. And be careful on any gravel.

I pulled something in my shoulder throwing a suitcase into the trunk (car trunk).  I won't be using the center stand for a while.

Can you add some ties to the bottom? A few hand stitches into a rope will keep it attached to the cover then you can tie it to the scooter. Be careful you don't want to make it a wind sock!
Due tell....I am almost 56 and have only been on a scooter for 2 years now. What took me so long?????????????/
