Is 300km when I am supposed to do the very first oil change? I read this somewhere but not sure it that sounds right.
If its been sitting around doing nothing for years then i would probably have changed the engine and gear oil for fresh stuff before i ran it, maybe thats just me being over cautious tho?
The manual says that 42mph is the top speed of a derestricted agility 50, which is probably true for flats. If you then tune it up a bit you can usuallly get between 42-46mph on flats depending on weather, wind, your weight, tyre pressure, valve clearances, cvt set-up etc.
I have not spent much on mine ( under £100) and get 42-46mph on the speedo guage on flats (on a good day), just over 50mph downhill (on a good day) and average 30mph uphills. Unless you fit a larger cc kit uphills will always affect speeds, just take a run at it and blast up the hills. When i see a hill coming i always try speed up before it so the momentum helps carry me up. Fitting a stiffer torque spring in the rear pulley and using lighter rollers will help with hills too.
