That is the Nikita 300, the DT 300i Seems to be 2 versions one with ABS and one without. They both are 29HP versions but for 2012 looks like only available in white.........…

Where can I locate the LGE5 to be on the bike?

Is it also safe to assume my 2013 has the LGE5?

LGE5 is actually the People 300, so only the variator in newer DT's has that mark, and yes,
it's 100% you got that one in a 2013, even if it's a carry over from 2012.

You can tell by full throttle acceleration revs too, if it's over 6000 at WOT it's LGE5, if it's
5500-5600, it's not.

Thanks, will try the WOT rev level tomorrow.

Currently, I am getting max speed indicated by the speedo to be just under 130km/h at around 8800rpm.

What will different roller weights do if I go lighter or heavier than stock?
And what is the stock roller weight for my DT 200?

Um, we're talking about the DT300 here.
Forget the 6000+ revs, the variator differences were on the 300 only.

You can use 10% lighter then stock (no idea about the size and weight on the 200) Dr Pulley sliders
for better acceleration and hopefully same top speed at lower revs.

Cool,

Will look into that.

But I have read somewhere that the DT200 has a slight change in the variator dept to match the 205cc motor better as the pre-2013 bikes (which shared the DT300 variator) has shuddering upon take off.

Shuddering at take-off comes from the clutch, not the variator, and I've had that occasionally on both my Kymco
scooters depending on weather and humidity. Easy fix, pull in both brakes, open up the throttle, let go of the
brakes slightly so the scoot just barely starts moving, don't do it for longer then a second or two.

Shuddering gone.

I must have written this at least 30 times all over the subforums here.

Hi

I have a 2011 may DT, so acc. to this, it is the stronger model.
I have tried a 14gr and 15gr. dr. pulley, and I will try a 16gr. 14gr was awfully light. The 15gr was better, almost good. I excpect the perfect affect with 16gr...

Is there anybody using 16gr???

I have a barely used (200km)14gr Dr Pulley rollers to SELL!! Send a PM if you interested in...

Considering the stock rollers are 15.5gr, using 16gr Sliders would get rid of the acceleration boost you get from them,
so I don't see the point of doing it.

What does that do? Deglaze the 3 clutch pads?

I must have missed those posts.

Most of those was in the Agility 125 forums, that thing needed the treatment often
if you ride in all weather.

What does that do? Deglaze the 3 clutch pads?

Yeah.

According to the changes 14 to 15gr, the 16gr is the best solution. If it was a tendency...
The 14gr was awful really for me... It worth 40euros to try the 16gr...

there is two sizes in variators , I have a lea7-eoo variator  and when I was doing some mods I ordered a ramp and got a lge5-eoo ramp by mistake , and it is bigger by 1/4 inch ,so it will not fit,  my variator looks like a tight fit ,. so I did not order a lge5-eoo, variator, to see if it would fit,. my scooter was built in april 2012  delivered to me june 26 2012,.  300i downtown,. I notice that the boss drive is different two and the pulley sub assembly is different too. ,  and I see the price for the belt is listed too  #23100 lea7-eo1 is $98.55,   at powersportswarehouse.com

One more thing: I prefer the highend rpm boost 6200 to 7800... In that range there is real acceleration...

One question: Are the two kind variators (LEA and LGE) use the same kind of belt?? Or have we two different sized belts?
I know 1004x25,4mm size.
