to upgrade or not.?.

I have a Agility 50 "deresticted" and it has a "50mm" or 81cc kit on it am wondering what kind of a difference upgrading the exhaust would make. Also was thinking about a 24mm carb. let me know what y'all think. If I only were to do one what should be?

I have heard that you can just cut the muffler pipe end off and that well help but not much.
I also have see wear you take the muffler off cut it in half and hollow it out then weld back together.
that I know works one of my buddys did it to his agilty 50 with a 70 kit on it.

Wordslinger will probably know , but I know he has had some success with larger carbs . How fast will it go now ?

43-44 in good weather on the flat actual, NOT speedo, seems like it is bogged down though. From the sound and feel I figured an exhaust upgrade would let it breath enough. So sounds like exhaust first then.

for blue it allows me to easily keep up with traffic, "the main reason for the upgrade". after derestricting i still was getting run off the road. not anymore. so for me it was Well worth it. I do agree that it's not something to do without thinking of the problems that it can cause.

true I always tell people that if thats what they want then they should of got a bigger scott. you can only do so much with a 50 cc .a 125 would of been better.

it was not easy but it works i think im running a 92 jet and I removed the air box and replaced with cone filter. to wordslinger what carb would you suggest? have read enough of your posts to get you have been through this a few times. I was thinking about just a 24mm intake with the auto choke I think that it is made for a 125? I would like to do both exhause and carb at the same time which should not be an issue in 3 weeks. also does anyone have a good recomendation on a resonable priced exhaust that will work well with the larger carb and the 80cc kit?  thanks alot guys if it wasnt for yall i would still be walkin....

..wwelll, i've never built an engine...but, yeah a 22-24mm carb and larger intake would definately work..

..i saw a technigas exhaust onna 72 kit the other day..chinese scoot, but it ran well...

larger intake as in the air filter going in to the carb or the diaphram goin from the carb to the motor itself?  Thanks for the super quick responce

...the larger carb will have a larger air intake i.d.

..i would suggest fitting a larger intake manifold from carb to engine..

..possibly might even want to look at opening the port going into your engine with something like a dremel tool....

Guys, the Agility 50 is originally made with a 80ccm engine, so therefore the carburator and exhaust is made to the 80ccm engine, although they sell the 50ccm engine to western countries. ALL of the bike is made to the 80ccm engine, so the stock carb should be enough, unless you want even MOAR power from it ;D
