Used 08 agility 50 scooter

       Been reading forum for awhile now & decided to join today! Anyway I bought a used 08 agility 50 scooter. When I got it ignition switch was missing & wires were cut. I've installed a new switch that I picked up from local kymco dealer. Scooter will crank over fine! But, there's no fire at plug. I'm not sure where to go from here! I've downloaded agility 50 manual off Internet via www.scribd.com. It has a wiring diagram & a list of what to do & what to check if scooter won't start! I've looked it over & it says if it won't start. It could be a faulty plug, cdi, pulsar or coil! Spark plug is new. So after a few checks of the wiring harness. It seems cdi is not firing coil! Cdi has two connectors. Larger connector has three wires that appear to be in a grounded state even when'll trying to crank scooter! Smaller connector has one wire & it is hot or powered when cranking. It's seems to me on larger three wire connector that one of the wires should be hot to fire coil! On back of coil there are two wires that both stay grounded even when trying to start scooter. I would like some input from them forum before I just start replacing parts. Maybe someone on here's got a better idea of what might be wrong. I'm pretty mechanically inclined. But, I'd rather pull motor out of scooter! Than chase an electrical issue.

I would some how just test everything you can and see if its not just something small befor pulling motor. does it look like the cdi has been cut. check what you can with a  elec. tester. see if the stator has power.a new cdi would be worth geting just to know its good . also do a valve check and clean the carb the more you do the better just so you know whats good.How are the lights and horn do they workand are they geting power.

Blue I've tested the stator it has three wires on it. Which are white, yellow & blue w/yellow stripe. I get a pulse type signal from the white & yellow wires! So that makes me think stator itself is working. But, no signal out of blue wire. It's like it stays grounded. From what I figure the blue wire is the pulsar wire that feeds signal to the cdi. So if there's no signal from pulsar then cdi is not going to fire coil. I'm going to pull flywheel & stator this weekend. See if there is any corrosion on contacts for pulsar. So I may end up needing stator assembly. Cdi has been cut! I did that the other night. Lights & horn all work fine.
