My 300i Happy To Have
« on: January 22, 2012, 01:46:59 PM »
Haven't been on here for months but through these months before the cold/snow, had a summer of fun with it. Looked forward everyday to get into the garage, and ready for another leisure ride. Previously on this forum, I gained a good bit of knowledge before I even went out far on my own. I appreciate this forum and the helpful/knowledgeable advice and cautions. With the 46 box and two small side bags, I carry my water, camera binoculars and other useful ride items. I will retire soon and I will make further great use of this 300i!

Syl - I just ordered my new DT300i in white with the Givi 46L box (which is what I think you have) - glad to see a picture with the top box - looks like it is perfectly sized...

Very Nice!

oldcastle, great and good luck with your new unit. You selected a great unit and have a great place to voice or ask about it here.

ckline3783...Name Brand is TOURMASTER, Nylon Cruiser III Tool Bags. They have Rain/Dust Covers inside and are water proof. They can mount using the mount straps Horizontally or Vertically. I paid $40.00 apiece for them but you may fing them cheaper elsewhere. I purchased them from a local cycle shop "Gatto's" located in Tarentum, PA I use them for my cameras, tools, water bottle what have you, they are really handy and stay to form.

Mine's arrived in the shop now... getting her top case with admore lights installed (givi 46), the clearwater lights (I'll let you know how they go - they are beautiful but did not install the way I thought they would - now on their own switch with a dimmer) and some extra nice foam put in the seat.... I'm hoping to pick her up tomorrow.

I can't wait and it looks like the weather will be reasonably cooperative... wind is blowing hard but not in a twirly fashion.
