Heh, sorry for the constant flow of questions, but I have another.

I have a rattling noise coming from my belt drive cover, so I opened it and discovered the noise was coming from a washer that sits on the shaft of the electric starter and the case cover.  It's quite annoying, so has anyone else had this problem and removed the washer without any problems?

You mean the small spindle thing for the electric start that sits just above the variator? Think its called a bendix. I dont have a washer on mine and never have had one? Maybe others on here can verify the same? If it had a washer on it i doubt it will sit in correctly? Cant think why a washer would be needed there?

Well I was assuming the washer was there to prevent direct contact of the bendix and casing when starting the scooter, so I left it on for safe measures.  I'm planning on removing it today though, as the sound is really bothering me.

Maybe a bit has broken on yours then because my bendix is all one piece as far as i remember and wont come apart.  Mine def has no washer on it at all tho because i had mine out last year and i kno it was one piece only. Have a look online for an Agility bendix and see if it looks like yours? Maybe even be a vid on youtube.

My 2011 AG has the same washer on and was making a noise so I covered it in grease and put it back in and the noise stopped.

Maybe they do have a washer then? Is it fixed onto the bedix itself or is it loose and comes off? I def didnt see any washer on mine but then again i wasnt looking for one.

..all the ones i've seen...many...have a thin thrust washer built onto the end of the bendix..

..i have seen one fall off, but that bendix was pretty worn...

Guys I'm trying to work out if my 2010 Agility is faulty or normal.
My acceleration (#82 jet, smooth boss, no other changes) feel p*ss poor. I make 0-30 on my speedo about 15 seconds. I am always the slowest of all the other scooters (london - mainly vespas or similar) off of the lights and never really seem to catch up.

Is that normal? Or has everyone else got 125cc bikes? I weight about 97kg if that might be making a difference.

Any ideas? Is the Agility 50 generally quite slow, or does my bike have a problem?

Any thoughts welcome.

Guess mine prob does have one then? I thought you meant a loose washer like a normal washer/spacer, if its part of the bendix and dont cpke off i prob just never noticed it.

If you still have rattling check your rollers are ok and the plastic guides on the ramp plate arent broke on the variator.

Matty, im about 70kg and im not too bad, i can beat cars away from lights (slow cars  ;D ) but its not great, its a 4t after all so slower than 2t scoots. Never timed my 0-30 so no idea if youre slow or not there.

The little devils are loose and tend to fall out as you remove the variator cover nearly forgot to put it back in the first time I took the cover off  ::)

Well I ordered a smooth boss, I just hope there isn't another restriction.
