lol ya I know thats a old picture that was the belt I got a while back and it was the wrong one.
it only lasted about 3 months.

Going to order a new belt in the next few days. is it worth going the extra bucks for a kavler belt or stay with the stock belt.

Im using a Malossi kevlar belt just now but will be going back to a rubber one when i renew it. Its easier to see when the rubber belt is wearing and needs replaced, and theyre cheaper.

Its easier to see when the rubber belt is wearing and needs replaced,

..when yo snap a kevlar belt, and yes, i have...lol..it turns into little chunks and a big wad of puff...

..the puff gets into EVERYTHING in the cvt..gotta disassemble clutch competely to getit out...

This one is listed as BE002 Powerlink Belt 729-18-28, however the width printed on the belt is only 17.5mm.

Welcome to the world of weird belt sizes. It seems all manufacurers vary their sizes so they may not be as you expect. I bought a few that were short even tho they had the size stamped on them.

..blue, a 748 is a very long belt for an a50...that's what a lot of kitted 2ts can run..

I PROMISE you the 748 is too long. The gates Slinger used is a TINY bit short but the closest to OEM. Either try Slingers # or just buy the OEM part, and forget what the # says. If you can spare the do re me... Buy several different brands, and test fit them. I have a few in a box that didn't fit with all sorts of meaningless #'s on them. It HAS to fit to the top of the clutch, and sit tight on the drive boss. That is the only belt that is correct.

..yeah, itsa cpl mm longer than oem...just a cpl..

..been looking around local for a 736...hard to find...

That's the deal. Even if you find your optimal #'s it don't mean that's what the belt really is. SUCKS

Malossi do a 736 but its kevlar. Im going to replace mine with this in a few weeks when i get paid http://www.chinesemotorcyclepartsonline.co.uk/partno_DB023.php I may order a 743 and a 729 to mess around a bit and see what works best.
