Did u replace just the clutch tho or the whole pulley assembly? It was my pulley assembly that went, the clutch was fine.

The 2 discs at the rear that move in and out that your belt goes round on? The ones the torque spring controls. Maybe its not called the pulley assembly but thata what i call it.

lol ya thats what im calling the clutch took a better look at it today and I can feel the bearing moveing kinda rough it should be smooth .dame anyone wan buy a kymco im going chinese.

Those pulleys should feel smooth as glass No crunchy stuff. There is a bearing in the engine side that may be shot. You can get just the bearing, and save your halves.

takeing it in to see how much a guy well rebuild it for a new is a lot of coin. not less someone is giveing out loans.

ok its not the clutch thats wrong I went up to 7gm rollers and it rides a lot better.
stell needs a little fine tuneing.

I was also running 7gs in my A50 (7.5gs nowadays in my "A72" :-) and it was still revving just below the revlimiter's max. rpm...

It depends on a lot of factors, like OEM vs. aftermarket variator and stiffnes of the spring in the torquedriver.

If i go above 6g i lose all decent acceleration and uphill speed dies, no matter what rpm torque spring i try. I need my 5.5g's, they suit me best, run just about perfect with a 1500rpm torque spring ;D

Every scoot runs different. I think as stated it depends MOSTLY on the condition/strength of the contra spring.

..yeah, with a brand-spanking new malossi 1500 my a50 wont run on more than 5.5s...likes the 5.1s...

..put 7 gs in mine and i might as well just get off and push it up th hills!!...

true that. I seem to find the only way to keep my scoot running nice is with hefy rollers and a wider belt
I thimk it due to the vareator worn down to much maybe shave the boss down or spend the cash for new parts. money I dont have.
