Rear suspension adjustment

How did you go about adjusting the rear suspension? My suspension is on the number two adjustment. I'll like to make it a little firmer.

..well, you see the adjuster...wrap a rag around the ridges meant for a spanner wrench (donnt wanna dig into the metal)
..grab hold of it with a pair of channel-locks and turn in desired direction!..

Wow! That was easy. I've been wanting to do that since I got the 120/80 rear tire on. The tire was rubbing the frame every time my fat arse hit a big dip in the road. I thought I was gonna have to rent a spring compressor.
