Weight rollers
« on: March 01, 2009, 12:24:04 AM »
Does anybody know the weight of OEM weight rollers for Agility 125?
While we're at it, the same question for Kymco People 250S. :)
Thanks!

The question for People 250 S is still open...

They are not 20x17.  i just bought a pair based on this forums advice and they do not fit the stock rollers.  If I can find out for sure...I will post the correct size.

Its 18x14mm.  Someone on the site here has replaced every other stock roller with a lighter 11gram.  This is supposed to smooth out the power curve and make it a bit quicker off the line.  I just bought a set and will try this.  But I am positive the size is 18 X 14 as I have a set of the 20x17 and they do not fit the Agility 125.

Excellent. I also bought 20x17.  :( They should be due for replacement this winter.
I think that they changed this part. Searching the Internet I found many different dimensions and one mechanic gave me 20x17 so I purchased it.

From what year is your Agility?

Good luck.  Here is what I bought exactly from Scooterworks.com:

Scooterworks
5410 North Damen Avenue
Chicago, IL 60625

Roller Set, Prima - 18 x 14 mm (6 per set)  11.0 G   $15.00

My Agility is a 2007 that I bought as a left over last May.  I have owned/ridden many scooters over the years and this one is by far the best value.  Practical, peppy, and inexpensive.  I still don't know how they do it.  I am not crazy about the style and the headlight is pretty weak.  I actually added a driving light that I use on the rare occation when I ride at night.  I also "re-activated" the little marker lights that reside next to the main headlight (I believe these are the turn signals for Euro spec). That and the soon to be installed 11g rollers are the only mods I plan to do.

How about yours...what year...do you like it etc?  Be safe

Also blue like yours, made in 2007, purchased in Jan 2008. Driven by my gf, has around 9000 kms by now, used as a sole vehicle for daily commuting. I am driving People S250 I purchased two months ago, 2000 kms on it at the moment...

Damn... I have purchased these:

Today Oxford Hothands from UK have arrived, so very soon, I will install them.  ;)

Very nice...they should do the trick.  You have a nice ride as well.  It doesn't look like you are in America...my guess is Europe?  Germany?  Are you a Formula 1 fan?  If so do you have a favorite team?  Being stuck here in the land of NASCAR, it is hard to talk F1 with anyone...just curious.  Good luck with the rollers.

I am right here: http://www.maplandia.com/croatia/primorje-gorski-kotar/rijeka/

Used to be a great fan of F1 in Ferrari era... then things started to become boring, so I do not watch it anymore.  >:(

Wow, Croatia.  Nice.  I am in a small town outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  It is about 2 hours south of New York City.  I was a big Ferrari fan until their dominance made for very boring races but I still watch and follow F1.  You should check it out now though.  New rules and specs on the cars have taken Ferrari by surprize and they are not even in the top ten of the standings.  The new aero package has made overtaking much easier and the teams seem to be more evenly matched.

My new rollers just arrived yesterday so I hope to install them (every other one) in the Agility very soon and see what happens.  I'll keep you posted.

Great "talking" with you.  Be safe

Please let me know if the dimension you gave me is correct, because I will obviously have to order another set... and I can use the existing one to make a bracelet or something...  ??? ::) :-X

Thanks NicBike, I agree with your comment about the stock (OEM) rollers.  The weather has been bad and I will not be able to even attempt this again until next Monday, but my new rollers arrived and they are spot on to the size of the OEM rollers when I had then out to inspect last week. I can not wait to try the install of the 11grams (every other) one) to see what happens.  Now if only the weather would help...6 days straight of rain...oh well.

Keep us informed..........I'm expecting a higher launch rpm by the 11 grams  rollers.

In the Netherlands we also have these days......solution.....rainwear. >:(
