Question about a People 150

Hello everyone,

I have a People 150 and it runs rough from dead stops to 5 to 10 mph. after that it is extremely smooth.

Anyone know what's wrong with it or what I can do to take care of the problem?

Pull in both brakes, open up the throttle all the way, let go of the brakes just slightly, enough to
let the scooter start moving, but at walking pace. The idea is to get the clutch slipping and burn
it up a bit.

Repeat a few times.
That'll fix it.

Thanks, I'll try it out. A mechanic recommended to me over the phone to take apart the crank start and clean it. I'm guessing your telling me to do the same thing in a dfferent way.

If you mean the engine is mis firing (rough) then the idle mix screw may need a turn or so. Try turning the MIX screw one way or the other (1/2 turn at a time).  Wait a few seconds, and note any changes in rpm. You'll want the highest rpm's from this screw. Once you get them turn 1/4 turn clockwise. Then you can adjust your idle speed screw to get the recommended idle rpm
Ps... In My Humble Opinion... DON'T burn the clutch. It does more long term harm than short term gain. If you suspect the clutch... SERVICE it.
Clean the air filter, and change the spark plug too!

Forgot to mention valve adjustment. These need constant checking. Do you hear any ticking sound? Or a popping thru the exhast/intake?
