..with regular preventive maintenance, the oem KYMCO driven pulley assembly is hard to beat...

..stick a good adjustable clutch on it, and you can dial really dial in the torque...

..the best thing I ever did for nina, was to start running a Gates 732-18.5-28 drive belt...

Would you mind explaining how running a shorter belt increases the performance?

I got ahold of a stock Kymco clutch. Not sure what it is from, only that it is a 2005 in decent shape. This one has the relief in the torque driver cover so I can use the NCY driver! Just waiting on my 2000rpm clutch springs to come in.

Here is the NCY GY6 kit: Has nice clutch and bell, 1000rpm contra spring, nice variator.

Here is the torque driver from the NCY set: Not sure which slots to use. The more vertical?

..I guess what I'm trying to really say is, a derestricted S9lc will wear lower-priced aftermarket parts in pretty short order..and not all a/m parts fit perfectly...might look good standing still, yet not have the range of motion capabilities at higher speeds and torque...

..you need to get proven parts for your S9...or you'll be missing out....

So I got my Airsal kit in the mail today. I screwed the spark plug in just for kicks and it looks like it comes up short. Is this how the plug should normally sit in the head?
