Hello All,
I've been out of commission with oral surgery and horrible KY weather (literally tornado weather, snowstorms and 60 degree sunshine in 5 days). Finally the weather is clearing up and I can get back to working on my bike.
I think my CDI is going bad. My bike acted up a while ago and I let it sit for about a month and now it is running fine again. When my CDI went bad before it did the same thing. Found a performance cdi on ebay for 19.95 with free s/h from a shop recommended on here previously. I can just buy this thing and plug it up or are there any adjustments I need to make to my bike for it?
Also it is time for new front brake pads. Since I plan to add upgrades, what type of brakes should I be looking into. I use my bike for regular commuting and would like to be able to go around 60-65ish.
I took apart the instrument panel to replace the oil light bulb and this is what I discovered
The oil light is attached to the wires
How do I replace this? Do I have to replace the entire instrument panel? The manual only says replace the bulb.
Last question (for now
), now my tail light is out. The manual says I need 3 bulbs, but I think that is for the euro lighting. I know I need a double filament bulb, but I don't know what type of bulb to get.
