Oil Pressure Light
« on: March 17, 2009, 01:43:39 AM »
Hey gang, I'm new to Kymco life, had my P-250 for 3 weeks now, and I love it. I bought a high mileage 06 (17k miles) and I noticed that the low oil pressure light comes on when I ride the bike for more than 20 minutes. Can anyone give me some advice as to what the light means, and what I should do about. Thanks.

I suggest taking it to a dealer.  Several possibilities come to mind.

The oil pressure sending unit may be bad.

The oil pump isn't working properly.

Oil with too low a viscosity was put in the bike.

Better safe than sorry.  Get it checked out.
