My local scooter store is going to be getting in some GT 300is and I have one reserved. I will be trading up from my 2007 People 150 that I have ridden for almost 14000 km. I can hardly wait!

Congrats on the new scooter.  I'm hoping to get one this summer too.  The problem is I need to sell my old and trusty Suzuki 450 and a Buddy 125 scooter.

You will not be disappointed.  The 300  GTI does it all.

I know how you feel. I will miss my P150 after having it for so long. I wish I could afford to keep it and the 300i.

The first time you ride your new GTI 300, you will never miss your 150

I had a 2005 People 150 that I rode for 21,000 miles and then traded up for the 2012 GTi300 last November.  The 150 was a great little scooter and I do miss it.  I rode it coast-to-coast across the USA.   However, I am really enjoying the GTi300 as well.   Each one has it's own good traits.  Maybe I should have kept the 150 too !   :)

I finally picked up my GTi 300 today.  :D I was able to get my first choice color choice - gold.  It was kinda strange looking at the Odometer and seeing 0 miles!
The combination of rain and new tires made for a very cautious ride home. Especially after it started fishtailing when I hit the gas too hard pulling away from the shop.
Now I have to wait for a nicer day to really see how it performs.  :(

Congrats on the new GTi 300!  I remember that when I first got mine it was a little quick on the initial acceleration.   It would almost "jump" when you initially added power.   But after riding it a while, it seemed to smooth out; or else I just got smoother on the throttle.

I will be picking up my new 300 on Tues. My BV250 has 33K and I am looking forward to a new steed. The lack of storage has me concerned as does having to lift the seat to fuel up. Hopefully the good out shines the not so good. Gold as well :) What did everyone pay out the door?

Hi guys and gals I'm brand new to the forum and I am also planning on buying a new People 300GTI. I am also interested in a People 150. Could anyone here tell me a bit about them and how fast they will go. The 150 will be for my wife. She needs something light and unintimidating. We don't plan on riding the freeways together so if the 150 can maintain 55 that's fine. It seems a number of you on this thread are previous owners so that's why I'm asking.

I weigh over 200 lbs and my P150 was able to run at 55-60 MPH (65 down hill with a tail wind). The P150 is very reliable. I had mine for 5 years and almost 14000 Km. I never had any problems with it and I did a lot of WOT riding. My GTi 300 is still too new for me to comment on its reliability and performance.

Just picked up my brand new GT 300i! Looks like euro turn signals aren't there.... no sockets or bulbs behind lens. Very cool blue led running lights below them though. Takes away some of my disappointment at not being able to activate euro turn signals.

Seat could be more comfortable. That and my short height makes the seat even more uncomfortable at stops. Local auto upholsterer willing to recontour seat and use some different foam, thereby lowering saddle height and increasing comfort, all for about $100 USD. Thinking about it and will post if I get it done.

Great riding scoot on first impression. Got it in gold and love the color!

Will post more impressions as I ride it more.

Also, my dealer loaded the PDF service manual on my thumb drive at no charge!

What city do you live in and what dealership did you buy it at? It sounds like an exceptional dealer to be willing to give you the service manual like that.
I'm currently in the market for a 300 also. Would you mind telling me what you paid for it?
