Well there you go, i'll glue it on tomorrow then just in case  :D

Just read on another site where i was looking for jets "Please note after fitting the cone filter that a jet increase of at least 10 - 15 sizes will be necessary to avoid damaging the engine." Says it all, my little 88 jet needs to be at least a 92-97, given how bad it was with no tape im guessing what you said is bang on,  prob get the 95, 98, 100, 102, maybe a 105 or 110 too just in case.

This isnt going to be as quick to set up as i hoped, guess i shouldve planned getting more jets in 1st before i started.  :-[

We'll get there i the end.  :)
Chaos is my co-pilot.

Also i just read online earlier someone said you need to oil the k&n type filters or they dont work properly? Is that correct? If it is what type of oil do i use?

YES!  It is the oil that actually traps the small particles.  You use specific, "air filter oil."  Otherwise, I know others that use 2T oil in a pinch...never tried that myself though.  The oil also repels water and helps with riding in light rain and wet roads.

PS. Agreed you're running lean. ;)

You HAVE to oil the filter!  I clean mine and re-oil regularly...definitely helps, especially in the rain.  Did that today actually! ;D
