I haven't/didn't offically "log" it but the tank is 1.9 gallons and i'd only get 90?KMS on a tank.
Somewhere like 47MPG, depending? For mine anyway. She liked the fuel... ;)

Wow, so I would lose close to 20mpg's...... tough decision now. I bought scoot to save gas. What if I replaced gears?

The ZX went from 100mpg to a whooping 25-27mpg wit all the mods. If fuel is paramount to you forget modding. I fill up twice a day.
Ps I do have gears at 8.3:1 final ratio

25mpg??? I have a 600 horsepower camaro as a daily driver that can get that on the highway, lmao. I think I might leave my stock scoot alone. Know anyone who wants to buy a new Malossi BBK?

HELL yes, the mileage SUFFERS!! I have a air cooled S9- I got a "lofty" 50 MPG or so TOTALLY STOCK.
Now, 70cc and much work later- 32 MPG, I check every tankfull. Two trips to work and back at 6 miles one way and I fill up again.
But it pulls like a freight train  now.... 8)

That's why we do what we do!

Well, today I burned up some more 93 octane- a lot. I recently pulled my intake manifold off to hog it out properly- when I put on the BIG parts, including the Arreche carb, I merely port matched the manifold, as the throat was too small to open up much. Well, now it matches all the way through, after extensive TIG welding and die grinding. Man, what a difference, along with a larger pilot jet. This thing almost wheelies now! WAY better throttle response, and I am running an 80 main jet now, I still might swap that around yet, but the plug is nice and clean.
More off topic- (sorry)- I also had about 2 mm of squish on my engine, so I had the head milled off 1 mm. This must surely mess up the critical combustion area some, but I now have 1.03 mm of squish and the deck height remains 1mm. I am running 93 octane, but today was the first real ride. So far so good- I hit 49 MPH today!
I have spent a ton of money to gain 13 MPH..........! 8)

When you say deck height of 1mm do you mean the piston is below the deck by 1mm? If so Remove your base gasket, and replace it with regular paper, and sealer. That will improve your squish by at least .4mm, and get you another 3-5mph. Get you more take off power too. I would Strongly suggest a colder plug,(BR9's) and keep using 93oct.
