I would have to start all over modding. I want a box stock BOMB. Then I can tune.
Besides a People looks too gay. I have a tough guy image to maintain. 16" wheels doing 60 don't cut the mustard.
I'm looking at the Aprilla, and the Piaggio. I don't see the NRG in the US tho...
Anyone know whats involved in Gray market title'ing in the US.  The point behind all this is the time I have spent Modding is worth more if I can do it for someone else. All the time on MY scoot takes away from customers boat repairs. I NEED a Reliable new scoot. FAST/NOT GAY. (no offense to People owners) F' the fags... :-*

I can spray paint over their sticker on the fender. The SR is a rocket in 50cc. The only stimy is the Fuel Injection. I can see being happy with it for a short while but having to toss the whole system in favor of a carb. Mercury Marine tried the Hi Pres. Air pump systems YEARS ago, and they made power but failed too often because of all the parts involved relying on each other. One small out of wack, and where do you begin to trouble shoot. The NRGdd50 is new to me so I am not real familiar with the set up. I do like the 13" wheels/Piaggio engine (which is in the SR 50 as well). I'm not sure this is avail. in the US tho.
I worked for a guy once that only drove HI end Porsche's. He bought them in Germany, and had them shipped here. These were NOT US DOT approved cars. They were referred to as Gray Market. But he managed to title/register them. Seems like alot of effort/expense for a scooter but so is building a 70+mph zx50 every other week.
I am OFTEN wrong in my processes but I think if I start with the BEST 50cc machine I stand a better chance of hitting my goal...RELIABILITY.
Sooooooo I am looking for the BEST 50cc machine (so I can take it apart, and make it better).
Go on Axy... I left the door open, and the lite on! Actually I would greatly appreciate your input on the best/strongest/fastest 50cc scooter. Facts are your forte'. I could use a few right now.

Thats the scoot I am talking about. The DD 50 version has rear disc, and 13" wheels. There is a broad in my town I've been DYING to (get with) She has Pink/Black Zebra skin covers on her car seats. I LIKE Pink...

100 mph club... I LOVE it. I am definitely giving them a closer look. Too bad all the COOL stuff is in Europe. For the few dollars I may join for a sticker on the scoot.

I have ridden/worked on the pierspeed, and it is a quick lil bugger. Not real power but quick. The down side is the size/layout. It's like riding in a shopping cart. My knees hit my hands on the slightest turn, and the rear pegs make me feel like I'm about to launch over the bars. Nice style, and a fairly well made scoot tho. A little lessor than Kymco in my opinion

Blue Buddy... You can keep yours. I have a smaller lighter anchor for the boat. sorry

Now the DERBI has my attention... Never thought about a 50cc crotch rocket. Is that a US avail bike?  Most likely no due to the carb. But I'll look into it
Thanks

Zombie one question/petition. Can you explain why you so obsesses with the 50cc?

I mean if that the case with the derbi you could get a CF-moto V5, or even a sach 125 madass! (and those are nice, psecially the sach)

I prefer the 50cc's because I LOVE blowing the foot pegs of the types of scoots/bikes you mentioned. Ive beaten Harleys at 300 yard clips.
I am a mechanic by trade, and selling my skills on the loudest most obnoxious MINI scoot EVER has a certain charm to it. It's great advertising for me in a small town. I know every cop/sheriff/state patrolman within a hundred miles of my home, and I get the same reaction every time I ZZZZZZZOOOOOOOMMMMMM past them. A Nod, and a Smile. Try passing a cop on the Harley... It's like being a kid on Xmas EVERY DAY. I just ride around grinning.
