Sorry guys The Derbi will cost almost 12g's to import. Maybe more. The easy part is getting one shipped in SEVERAL boxes dis assembled, and marked as scooter parts (smuggle it in) The hard part is titling/registering it. You'd be a felon if caught. (forging certificates)

I just got off Scoot Inv. and am buying the Aprilla SR 50 Factory. I've talked with Rich (High Gain Tuning) and he is suppling all the goodies to make this a Fuel Injected f***ing MONSTER. I have located several dealers that are sitting on 2009-2012 models NEW in the show room. It sells for 2,300.00 for the '09, and as high as 3,500 for the 2012's. I don't have the totals on all of HGT's goodies yet but he can transform these from 3hp oem to 17hp 70mph monsters. It's all in the cpu/mapping (and a few other assorted tech. gizmos) 70cc's is all that's needed. (Malossi water cooled kit). I also got an MSD FULLY programmable cdi that is mapped to your liking on you computer using software provided by MSD. That is going in the ZX along with a new windjammer pipe. I've spent now 57 of the last 75 hours setting all this up. Here's some links to check it all out:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MSD-4217/
http://www.taiwantrade.com.tw/phongeer/products-detail/en_US/399410/_DIO_hand_made_race_chamber_muffler

The Phongeer is going on the Malossi engine that I will re bore to 48mm, and the Windjammer, and MSD are going on the Ruima engine that I am raising the timings to 190 exh, 130 trans, and 126 boost. Also raising the compression to 12.5:1

I've been REAL busy in the past three days. I have the Verucci Ruk (4t 50mm) running. The Malossi ready for boring, The Ruima ready for timing changes/honing, and all those goodies on the way. Also bought the Malossi primaries for a final drive ratio of 6.3:1 on the ruima.
Forgot... New Jasil Vars for every one. 3:00 am Time for 3 hrs sleep to pay for all this sh**. Guess I'm keeping the Z after all. That will be my weekend warrior... I'll keep the Ape as a commuting "sleeper", and the Vruk is for running the dogs... They run about 2-3 miles at 15-20 miles an hour 3 times a week. Keeps them from killing kids. I have 4 of them Pure black with white markings on the chests. Two males, and 2 females

Those dogs ARE my life. I have to keep them busy/entertained/running or they would certainly be on World News Tonight. I only have one that is a genetic throw back... Andre' is his name, and NO ONE at all is allowed to move around him. When my braver friends come over to chill he is sitting on my foot staring at whom ever he determines is the strongest one in the room. Don't try to pick ANYTHING up if you drop it... Just leave that joint right where it is, and I'll get it for you. He's my baby boy... Since a puppy he has slept on my pillow, and now that he is grown He nuzzels his nose under my chin, and sleeps.

I totally agree with the statements made this forum, its poss the best forum ever. We have a good mixed bag on here and everyone is good at helping out or yankin each others chain a bit too at times  ;D

I joined a Vespa forum a few months ago and it was like the land of the luddites, un believable how anal those guys are. After getting several complaints about photos i posted of my Vespa project i gave up arguimg and havent been back. I even had one guy complain cos i wanted to use nylock nuts instead of rivets (with the official crisscross markings of course) to hold my floor runners on  ::). lol. Must be like going to a party at the old folks home at one of their rallies. Thats what i like about here, we're all open minded to try anything once  , no matter how ridiculous it may sound :D

Actually yes, you are moving to vespa, the scooter you have in mind has a Piaggio engine, so one way or another you just became a Vespa-men. nuff said  ;D

Vespas rock, its the Vespa riders thats the problem. Maybe me and zombie can corrupt the system like a virus and bring it all crashing down from within?   :D

Thing is these guys seem to forget that in the 60's the Mods used to fit all sorts of non piaggio and non standers parts to their scooters, that was the attraction, make your little boring scooter into a unique piece that no-one else has. Now these idiots want to get all het up cos somebody didnt use genuine 1972 Italian glue from the factory in Pontedera to stick on the Piaggio badge. JEEZ! I never knew such closed  minded folk existed any more?

Think i'll go order a Lambretta mudguard off ebay and use it  just to piss them off  :D

Bella amico mio  ;D

Ciao.

Remember you said your dog breed comes from the canary islands? I meant to say, did you know thats where the name of the islands comes from? I always assumed it was because of canary birds but i found out on a holiday there its from the dogs that lived on the islands (canines-canaries).

Imagine that, an island full of Andre's.......GULP!!!  :o lol.

My house is INSANE. I have 12 cats/kittens, and those four living in two bedrooms. An Island full would be little difference. It's kinda cool watching them threaten everything in town, and a kitten will walk up and jump on the dogs head. The cats are second in command after me, and the dogs respect that. Just like raising kids eh!
